Thirty-seven years ago, Demand Products developed the first portable hot wire foam cutter, the StyroCut15 and changed the EFIS Industry. The technology then, was mainly manual foam cutters which were limiting, and did not address all the needs of the foam industry, in particular on-site foam cutting. Seizing the opportunity; we developed new hot wire technology, introduced the Demand Hot Knife, invested substantially in foam recycling machines and computerized CNC foam cutters. The new XTR Pro series from Megaplot, being the latest addition to our Megaplot CNC line.

SLABBER / DOWNCUTTER
Our Slabber/Downcutter Combo is a 2-in-1, it is both a Slabber and a Downcutter. Using a multi-wire frame it will make precise horizontal cuts - “slabbing” your foam block and with the optional Downcutter frame it will come down sectioning your foam slabs to your desired size. It will set up to 35 wires allowing you great flexibility with your cuts. Most common footprint 4' x 4' x 8’ - custom sizes are available.
